Agreed, I didn’t leave Twitter years ago to end up with this negativity again here, especially after a decent performance where the result just went against us

Exactly. There were positive signs there today and if we don’t win the league from here it’s far more on our performance last week than this.
You don’t understand, we clearly need someone to take longer with throwing the ball back to them.
Donnarumma will never have an easier throw out, Martinelli completely asleep on O’Reilly’s run.
He’s good at that job on the left, I really didn’t think he’d be this bad at it on the right.
Like it in theory, but did Hincapie not struggle against City already this season? Pairing Eze with him seems concerning.
One thing I really miss was the era where sky had a red button option for audio without commentators. That was bliss.
I know he’s a teenager, but we don’t have many games left, and I’d have really preferred Dowman and Mosquera on that right side with MLS playing.
Yeah, if we’re not going to have a second keeper who genuinely challenges for the starting role, I’d rather we have a talented youngster there.
It’s particularly vexing because Arteta has shown himself to be ruthless with keepers in the past and in this case it has always been 100% clear Kepa was only ever signed as a backup.
You know, it’s almost like there might be a reason Chelsea were okay taking a £66m hit on selling him to us, where normally we have to pay overs. Hopefully we never do this “must play the cup keeper” bullshit again.
If you weren’t worried about picking a 30yo keeper who’s value had gone down £66m, against City in a cup final.. then not much must worry you.
Not convinced there’s going to be much space for Martinelli to run into at 0-2, though obviously there’s things that should have been done differently with hindsight
Impossible? Every season “neutral” fans root for Man City over whoever is challenging them, because they don’t know any genuine City fans.
Wait, did I miss some 7GT news today? Where are they making the RHD for initially, presumably Malaysia?
Yeah I know what you mean, my algorithm feels wonky the last week or two as well.
Sounds like it could use a fair bit of work on the software side of things youtu.be/dVGxj-0F05E
If Spurs get relegated I fear we’ll need to sell Eze
I also find it hard to believe he needs to do it in that situation, he should still have been favourite to win the ball.
Performances outside the PL have been fine, we’ve just been crumbling under the pressure of the league with 5 months to go. We don’t seem to know how to fix it. Side note - I can’t imagine Heinze’s wellbeing chats are the same as Cuesta’s were.
To be honest the goals and result are by the by here. If this is the level of our performances in February we were going to bottle it this saseon regardless.
nothing about the way we’ve been playing this half, or the way Eze has been playing this season suggested to me that bringing him on was a good option.
I don’t see how it’s even a question, if they had both been feet it’s a card every time.
It’s a good finish, but that is an awful lot of time and space to give on the edge of the box.
Well, he contributed to a goal with his first touch…
It’s not good, but it’s still a lot better than the IONIQ 6. That was such a disappointing drop off in styling from the IONIQ 5.
Madueke’s strength is on the ball, unfortunately his weakness is whatever he tries to do (pass or shoot) at the end of his runs on the ball.
We’ve comfortably beaten Chelsea and Inter away with 3 goals in each game recently, its pretty clearly a mental issue in the PL right now that needs to be sorted, not our attack.
When he’s up front it also has the added bonus of him not leaving holes in midfield (his part in the Cunha goal is the latest example of why it doesn’t feel great when he plays there).
For me it’ll be the 5 points we’ve dropped to this season’s Liverpool at this stage.
