All that matters is your happiness. Your health is a big factor of that, so I’m glad you’re making small changes to reach a better overall result.

I’m glad you’re here!

I used to think that, for the most part, Canadians were incredibly non-confrontational and avoided conflict, but between the hockey and curling incidents, I’m not so sure anymore.

Stop Using Face ID Right Now. Here's Why Biometric locks like face recognition are convenient to set up—but because of a legal loophole, law enforcement can bypass them more easily than a traditional passcode.

Periodic reminder that rather than disabling FaceID on the off chance that you may have an encounter with law enforcement, you can temporarily disable it and require a passcode by holding down the power button until the power down menu appears.

Me too! Couldn’t be happier!

I thoroughly enjoyed it as I just went along for the ride without trying to think too much about it. I’ve read what some people have to say to criticize it and I’m glad I didn’t approach it with that lens.

European Parliament Votes Overwhelmingly For "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women" The resolution, though nonbinding, is a significant shot at those who seek to erode transgender rights on the continent.

In incredible news, the European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly for "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women."

Even the center-right European People's Party voted for the declaration.

It will form a foundation for their position at the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

And what happens when human labor gets devalued to the point where it’s not needed? How does it work if consumers can’t earn a living?

Capitalism’s only hope to survive is by providing artificial income so people have money to spend and keep the machine chugging along until we find another way.

I take solace in knowing I’m not the only one feeling all of this. I somehow have faith that there are brighter days ahead.

The one right before the cauldron lighting? Those poor athletes seemed so bored and whatever excitement she was talking about that they might have felt was escaping their bodies.

Much like a SNL skit… it started off fine and went on far too long without anything new to offer.

Imagine being given a choice. 2 hours of Melania or the new season of 24. What do you choose!?

And it’s not just queer athletes that are speaking out. If they wanted endorsement deals, they would just smile and win gold, while avoiding controversial topics. Big companies want safe profits and usually cozy up to people in power.

I don’t know… seems a bit cynical to me! Some certainly do seek that out, especially in the highest profile sports, but I have a hard time believing that all 200+ share that goal.

While most wouldn’t turn down offers, I’m glad to see some using their platform to speak out. bsky.app/profile/impl...

Not only that… Venezuela was immediately before the US and they mention the turmoil involving Maduro without acknowledging our role in that.

I get that they want to remove politics and stick to traditions of honoring heads of state, but now I wonder how the 1936 Berlin games would be covered today.

That’s exactly what they did when it aired lived this afternoon. Even weirder, Venezuela was immediately before the United States and then mentioned Maduro without acknowledging our involvement in that.

Venezuela was also very jarring as they talked about the turmoil in their country like we weren’t involved at all. I get that they are trying to remove politics and treat heads of state with respect, but oof.. feels weird and not great.

To be fair… NBC has always been very aggressive about taking down any Olympics coverage. They feel like they paid a lot for it and fiercely defend against third party rebroadcasts.

I watched it live and the NBC coverage had cheering in the stadium and had nothing negative to say.

Also incumbents have a huge advantage, even if only from name recognition.

Still time to get on the Bears bandwagon! Plus, you still have the Broncos too!

I just can’t get over how much they rave about the original show in that article as if it was actually quality television! I am worried for your mental health though if you try to watch it, but if that makes it onto a podcast, I’ll be listening!

Don’t forget that passenger’s airfare includes many taxes and fees to support the airports infrastructure and security. Meanwhile, the airlines continue to post profits and grow their value for shareholders.

I’d love for someone to ask her about her evolving position on issues and revisit some of those past topics. It would be super interesting to see what she has to say about them now, and how she came to hold those views, and what changed between now and then.

When terrible people are opposed to you, spewing their hatred and bile… you know you’re on the right side, despite how awful it feels.

Thank you for all your work… please take care of yourself!

I was originally notified around the April 1st release date and there was no movement on it until very recently. I was mildly concerned until I heard Jeff mention that there was some production issue.

Hope yours arrives soon! ☺️
