I ran 106 miles in March, which is a personal best for a month. But I’ve already gone 47 miles this month!! I feel really strong and I’m looking forward to running in the OKC half marathon two weeks from today!! #RunChat
A7: Anywhere I haven’t been would be great, but I would love to try running in the mountains. #RunChat
A6: “You’re fast for an old guy!” I’m really not, but I’m working on it. #RunChat
A5: I like beer. (Guess it could be the answer to Q4 also…Tom T Hall) #RunChat
A4: Against the Wind. “I’m older now and still running, against the wind.” #RunChat
A3: The thrill of competing, not only against others, but also competing against myself for better times and longer distances. I really just love the way I feel when I run!! #RunChat
I haven’t run in enough places, but the Sandhills of Nebraska are beautiful to me. I spent my summers there as a kid training bird dogs with my dad. The way the sun hits the rolling hills early in the morning and late in the evening is breathtaking!!
love to compete!! #RunChat
A1: I’ve always enjoyed running. When I was very young, I ran to stay in shape for other sports. When I got a little older, I ran to keep weight off and keep up with my growing family. I always felt good when I ran and it has always been a part of my life. But now I run because I love it and I

Kevin Dawson is a very good choice for labor commissioner!! He will work extremely hard for Oklahoma!! youtube.com/shorts/6QHVc...
Hope so! I’m definitely more prepared than I was last year!
I ran 36 miles this week, including a 13.5 mile run on Thursday that was the longest single distance I have ever ran!! OKC Half Marathon is 3 weeks from today!

Key word in this post and why I am reposting it: It took a decade before America finally calling these pathological Liars "Liars."
Build child care centers.
Build health centers.
Build community centers.
Not data centers.
And not ICE detention centers.
No, the temp was nice, but it was pretty windy. I bet you have to deal with the wind quite a bit out in west Texas, huh?
I am sure that is true!
I agree. I’m one of them that pushes it off, but when I am consistent with it, running becomes easier!
I have a long run scheduled for in the morning that will put me over 100 miles for March! That is by far the furthest I’ve ever run in a month!! #RunChat
Congratulations!!
A7: YOUNG!! I’ve never really felt old, but I don’t think I want to. I like feeling like I can still do the things I did 20-30 years ago. And running helps me to feel that way!! #RunChat
A6: Jesse Owens, because he’s fast, Barry Sanders, because he went to OSU(and he’s fast), and Larry Bird, because he was my hero growing up, and he might be slower than me so I’m not the slowest guy on the relay!! #RunChat
A5: I think it definitely have mentioned this before, but I never dreamed of running more than 2 miles and still enjoying it when I was younger. Now I can run 10 and immediately think of doing more! #RunChat
A4: I think it definitely teaches perseverance and how to overcome obstacles in the way of your success! #RunChat
A3: Definitely listen to music while I run. Music helps me to relax and I feel like I get more done, no matter what I’m doing!
Put in the time with strength training and stretching, it really makes a difference!
Wes from Oklahoma. I haven’t given this enough thought, but I’ve always wanted to visit all 50 states. Now I think I would like to compete in a half marathon in all of them!
