Good morning, y’all!
Especially those of us here @ohiostatemed who STILL believe that our Diversity Drives Excellence, and refuse to “white-wash” our values when the going gets tough.
These #BlackMenInMedicine stand with you - who is standing with us? ✊🏽

Thanks for welcoming me!
I joined 75+ @nobelprize.bsky.social laureates urging US Senators to oppose RFK Jr.'s confirmation as DHHS Secretary. If you’re in a state with GOP senators, PLEASE reach out to them! I’d deeply appreciate it if you amplified this post! 🙏

Oh wow that works. Thank you!
Is there a good way to see some of this info on accessing primary care data for those who aren’t there? :)
I agree wholeheartedly! And those who wanted an research career could just choose to do some postdoctoral time as a 3rd year.
I agree current salaries do not match the amount of work done considering we run inpatient teams, dialysis units, oversee transplants, and have some of the sickest patients. Care for our patients is undervalued.
It’s pretty concerning as a trainee. Our demand is increasing with growing volumes, larger number of patients eligible acute dialysis, etc but our supply is shrinking. I worry that the work load will be untenable as more work is put on fewer people.
This is great , thanks for doing this !
