Yeah, this makes perfect sense. A bunch of suits who showed up, rubbing their palms together, drooling, asking where the money comes out. It wouldn’t be the first company/industry they’ve destroyed.

There is some sexism in the genre, but fortunately prominent titles suffer more from sexism of omission (lack of female characters, lack of agency) then anything intentional. And some of the biggest names have great female characters. (I can list some if you're interested. 1/2
