Had my first meeting with my new boss since my promotion.

Tl;dr: My shop is in good shape and I didn't immediately get fired, so I'm calling it a win.

Both of my parents are/were alcoholics, and while I enjoy drinking socially, I have always navigated my relationship with alcohol with caution. I think I've done okay so far, it's just... man fuck having feelings so much

I have been going through some Personal Stuff and it's SO tempting to just hit the bottle every time I'm sad.

I never drink at home and I never drink alone, for the record.

But... it's like there's a little wheel spinning in my head, and alcohol helps slow it down.
