They want me to stay off caffeine while they wait for the MRI results.

In the meantime, the hiss remains and is really annoying.

There is a BP medicine that has shown help in warding off these attacks, I’m not sure I want it.

Will wait for the MRI and then sort out if I can live with decaf, LOL

I had an appt that week, went back and the test confirmed it, major hearing loss.

Could be Miniere’s Disease, however no dizziness.

Cut out caffeine, reduce salt intake. Schedule an MRI

I’ve noticed some improvement… this week’s test confirmed that my hearing was much better.

Several weeks ago I developed a hiss in my left ear…it is constant and some days louder than others.

At the first of a series of appointments, discovered hearing loss in that ear

12 days of Pred, finished and soon after I noticed a major loss in that ear

6 more days of Pred… cont’d

Today’s another appointment with the ear docs…the brain MRI results should be there
