Femicide is an epidemic that is currently directly affecting our society and ruining lives. But nobody wants to talk about it cause a bunch of men are finding it hard to date and are lonely😢
i find it so fascinating how racism within white trans spaces are so normalized and heavily downplayed because so many white trans people value protecting racists within their own community simply because they share the same identity
i also think for a lot of white trans people (and white queer people in general) don't seem to like it when you point out that they have white privilege. it's like any acknowledgement that they're not the most oppressed person alive genuinely offends them.
i also just find the most telling thing about this discourse is that you can absolutely tell these people do not think queer people of color exist lol
When ppl speak on femicide, particularly black femicide, it is not something to take very personally.
Femicide is a global systemic issue that isn’t necessarily particular to one culture. But like many yt ppl, some men can’t help to make it into a personal attack.
