I often think about upgrading, but to reasonably upgrade from my 3060 Ti to what I want would probably cost me over a 1000AUD, and then my 5800X would start to look old, and that would mean a new motherboard for a newer CPU and then new RAM... So I'll hold off another gen or so and do it all

Metroid Prime is still fun as hell, and the Switch is the way to do it. Hopefully the rest of them get released in some form, even if they're not quite as shiny as Remastered. All 3 of those games deserve to be on modern platforms again.

Intended interactions seen during normal gameplay: Small Mario + Mushroom = Super Mario Super Mario + Fire Flower = Fire Mario Rare interaction seen during normal gameplay when spawning a Fire Flower as Super Mario and then taking damage before touching it: Small Mario + Fire Flower = Super Mario Interaction only possible to see with cheats: Super Mario + Mushroom = Fire Mario Internally, Mario touching a Super Mushroom and a Fire Flower calls the same subroutine, meaning that they are the same object for the purposes of affecting Mario. In Super Mario Bros., Super Mushrooms and Fire Flowers are actually the same object for the purposes of powering up Mario, with a Super Mushroom being able to turn him into Fire Mario. The game simply hides this by not spawning any Super Mushrooms when Mario is already Super.
