I can understand all of the arguments against it, especially from people in creative fields, but if ChatGPT was the only AI tool and the model was limited to learning official documentation from programming languages and libraries, it would still be an invaluable product in my industry.

As a software developer, the difference in my workflow now when I can paste a snippet of code in Claude or ChatGPT and have the model help me work through a bug instead of going through countless pages of documentation and semi-related Stack Overflow posts, is staggering.

I don’t live in the US and I only followed “tech twitter” which leans heavily liberal. I noticed a dramatic change in content, I was being flooded with maga stuff and people complaining about wokeness constantly. It was pretty jarring.
