Code switching can be switching between dialects of the same language (Southern drawl to Standard American English, let’s say) or between languages (English to Spanish & back). I’m from the Southern US but don’t live there. When I’m home, I code switch into Southern dialect. In Oregon, I use SAE. 🌏✌️

More musical journeys w/ Geordie. Because he has kitty ADHD/anxiety, we often play music for him. I’ve discovered that he likes music that has lots of harmonies, whether they’re instrumental or vocal. They really calm him down. Tonight, I found out he likes Take It to the Limit by The Eagles.
