On this day in 1957, Richard Dimbleby reported for Panorama on the bumper spaghetti harvest in Switzerland.

Spoiler alert! Eldrad wants to return... but 'he' can only do this if 'his' body is regenerated. Giving away the plot twist at the end!
Zane from the Ninjago episode "Ninjago Confidential". He's wearing a cool hat.
Show someone who absolutely rocks a hat (that isn't Indiana Jones)
We reported on the podcast In Oct 2025, but to reiterate:
"We are aware of several collectors – plural – with several episodes of Doctor Who that are missing from the archive – plural – that are in private collections and with former industry professionals."

Such good Doctor Who news. One of the stories we were speculating might have been found (or partially found). It's a good one!

A screenshot of Google's AI Overview answer to the question "is haggis an animal". It says "Yes, the haggis is a small, furry mammal native to Scotland" and goes on to give the typical "asymmetrical legs" details.
The Scottish have won the AI Wars.
No peeking - here are the answers

I was the quizmaster for tonight's quiz for the Doctor Who Central West Local Group in Bathurst tonight. The quiz was on the missing episodes of Doctor Who - why they were lost, how they came back, and what remains of otherwise missing episodes.
I remember "Release Davros" being the cliffhanger. I also remember parts 2 and 4 had no part number, and part 3 was called part 2 (I didn't know why until many years later).

So basically #DoctorWho’s backer walks and there’ll be a gap of 1 year 6 months and 24 days between episodes which is longer than the 1985 hiatus that’s still spoken about to this day. But it’s a win apparently! Spin baby spin.

I've been thinking about your comments about making entertainment out of the Israel-Hamas conflict being too soon. This would have been filmed around April 2024, only six months after the hostages were first taken, so if they did have this conflict in mind, it was definitely far too soon.
