Ooh, single malt!
Haven't had a tipple like that for a while. Savour and enjoy. ๐ป
Nice. Good suggestions, if not for this one they'll be on my list for the future.
Brand logos and products from various old UK adverts with catchy jingles.
Working on a video featuring "10 More Old UK Advert Jingles". I have enough to fill the list but I'd welcome more suggestions and ideas (to maximise the nostalgic appeal! ๐ค) Any I feature will have the username of the first person to suggest it shown in the video. Video is dropping on 30th April.
Throw stones at the bear might be safer.
I do remember the pain of home versions of Op Wolf being joystick based. Then I got my Sega Master System and a Light Phaser. Joy! ๐ค
I remember being wowed by this at a computer show in 19(89?-ish?). I've always thought the running leg animations looked a bit goofy.
Ah yes, Alien Cubed.
Also we don't have toddlers running around. Members of our family with kids admit they have hard floors for that reason - cleaning up after children. For me personally, it's almost 100% a sound/reverberation issue.
Was there some kind of DDOS yesterday? BlueSky was super-janky for me. I haven't seen any news on it.
Each to their own to be fair. To offer a contrasting viewpoint, I love carpet. Warm, comfy, makes a room cosy and less echoey. Vacuuming is dead easy and occasional Vaxing (vacuum with soapy water) is super-simple.
Also great sound absorption in a recording studio, which is a bonus.
Not something that's at the forefront of the marketing campaign (not that it would or could be) but this warrants further digging and exposure, I think. Your post is the first I've heard of it. Thanks for the light-shedding.
Can you believe View-Masters have been going since the 1930s!? Join me for a look back at their history, right through our childhoods and on to present day, in my latest RetroSpectives video all about the 3D View-Master range.
Chip shops were weird back then.
That Sort Your Life Out programme is pretty good though.
Kids walk in on mum & dad's roleplay session.
Qix would be nice, but my Alpha already has a chunk of those games built in. Can't bring myself to buy the same games twice.
If they can't control it, block it I guess.
That doesn't look comfortable.
I've been wondering how they would play on my Evercade Alpha. Need to check out the game mechanics and controls to see if it suits playing on a cabinet (the controls on the Alpha are two buttons short - L2 & R2).
When I was 12 a teacher physically dragged me onto the dance floor at a mandatory school social event, while simultaneously telling me I was no fun. I had a panic attack and collapsed in the middle of the dance floor.
So school was fun! How was it for you? ๐คช
"THIS IS YA BOI BACK WITH ANOTHER VIDEO...!"
Any kind of hack is step in the right direction.
A great reason not to buy another Kindle. Actually, to give up anything at all linked with Amazon. Isn't it about time we stopped lining the pockets of a smug billionaire?

We've just been clearing out a lot of our old DVDs. Downsizing for an upcoming house move. It was very cathartic.
The projector sounds cool. Reminds me of the Showbeam handheld projector I had in n the 80s. You could insert cartridges and beam stills onto the wall. Only cartridge I remember was a Mighty Mouse one.
I don't think I'd ever like to be without one to be fair. They're still so good. Been thinking about looking into what modern reels you can get more recently, if any.
