I can only speak about Britain being British.

I’m not convinced about that and presumably his film was about the States?

🤬
I’m just about to write again to the chair of the Epsom Downs Conservators about over mowing on the Downs. How are the skylarks meant to nest when the grass is mowed so often. Only bits used by race horses or happy hackers needs mowing. Life’s tough enough for ground nesting birds

Isn’t Charles Moore a buddy of Johnson’s?

Yes those dogs will have considerably more brain cells but won’t answer back. Perfect

Love ‘em.
Our MPs good, their councillors are good and their leader seems a decent bloke. What’s not to like. And now this. 👍

Perfect.

The Devil must be loving this.

I fear you are right. It takes a long time and a lot of money we don’t have to undo that depth of harm.

Absolutely. He’s a giant amongst men even if short of stature. They are the lowest form of human life, the sort that makes the rest of us ashamed

See my previous post about the different Saints days. All Saints’ Day is a particular day at the 1st of November. The hymn For All the Saints is often sung. It celebrates all saints known or unknown. All Souls’ Day is the 2nd of November. They are not public holidays.

It’s from the Church of England web site. Perhaps you should write to the Archbishop and tell her they’ve got it wrong. You admitted you’re not a Christian and are only remembering what you were taught at school and then you go to AI. I think you might be the one talking rubbish

No we all know that. But neither did most of the saints but it doesn’t stop the C of E celebrating their day.

I’ve long followed the rev Richard Coles for many years an Anglican priest. He always mentioned the appropriate saints day that was being celebrated within the Church of England.

Celebrating St George, martyr and Patron saint of England | The Church of England St George’s Day – observed on Thursday 23 April this year – will be a day of celebration in churches across and beyond the Church of England.

I was brought up in the C of E but just to check I googled it

Impossible to justify privatising as it’s a monopoly. Quite apart from all the other arguments.
Re nationalise starting with Thames.

I did know that really. But I didn’t know he was also venerated by followers of Islam. That’s going to blow the brains of the far right racists.

Kemi Badenoch: Sir Keir Starmer is 'lying or grossly incompetent' Speaking to Sky's Rob Powell, Kemi Badenoch calls for Sir Keir Starmer to resign and accuses him of either lying or being incompetent over the vetting of Peter Mandelson.

But nowhere near as incompetent as she is.

Critical thinking comes with education and I’m sure European standards are higher. Really hoping Hungry is the start of the end of the European far right.

He can’t be honest about anything. He’s one big walking lie

They may not have known who he was but probably recognised he was a really nice man who was interested, had good manners too

I think Catholics are probably normal and Cof E do do saints but much more low key. Bearing in mind St G apparently killed a dragon I’m not sure how he fits into Christianity at all. Perhaps there were dragons in the OT.

Good god no. I had to amuse myself till school started at 8.45. The only food available was lunch and that was grim. Only 6th formers were allowed to leave the premises during the day. Modern kids have no idea.

I didn’t mention that my dad gave me a lift most mornings but it did mean I was at school slightly after 8am.
