Well I converse regularly with my agent via Whatsapp (text or voice). Most people are fine with that. For me the gap remaining is the techy set up in the first place. Once that is sorted so it becomes like installing a phone app, then agents will be everywhere.

Sure, I accept that, its early days for openclaw, but I just meant that it is narrowing the gap that you highlighted. Plenty of CLI to get it running, which is still a huge barrier to entry, but now working very much in a format that anyone in the team can use.

It's for my own logical structure. Personal assistant channel and threads for email, tasks, calendar management, technical channel and threads for system development, business management channel for tracking and planning, etc. Then the ability to have different team members in various contexts works

Openclaw on a vps makes sense for me architecturally - always on, outside of our network for security. Started with Whatsapp as the first natural language interface but it's too limited. Discord channel structure is much more practical.

Do you not think agents are bridging that gap? Still tech heavy to get up and running, but Im finding openclaw+discord pretty impressive as a practical interface.
