Only real downside is that the title has a "lemon" mark on it due to the buyback but knowing what the recall was for and how they fixed it I'm perfectly okay with that for these prices.

I bought a 2020 Bolt this weekend. There are a bunch out there that GM bought back and put new batteries in after the recall in 2021. Selling for 8-13k low milage with new batteries is a steal.

It's also more difficult to hallucinate bad code since it has to be somewhat correct to run and is reviewable. That's why I try to not have LLMs fetch data for me but rather use it to build tools to compile the data myself.

Also, it's important to note that software doesn't get points for being artistic so the tradeoff works. Once you need artistic/creative output things go to hell real quick

The way I view it with software is that it's like a coloring book where the person draws the lines and the LLM colors it in with the person telling it to change the colors when it picks one wrong. Still a lot of user involvement to make anything good.

The card updating is fine IMHO, but the ways businesses make it hard to cancel is very much not and really need to be reined in.

I think a lot of it comes from their pathos of control. They are too insecure to give up any control and delegate effectively.
