About 170,000 UK children are exposed to clinically significant levels of lead. Only about 250 of them will receive any intervention to reduce that exposure.

The UK is terrifyingly ignorant when it comes to the problem of lead exposure. I've described it as a "don't ask, don't tell strategy".
So it's great to have got politicians, scientists, policy researchers and to endorse the call for a national child screening program
