Can check this trip off my bucket list now.
There she is. First flight from LHR to STL.
For the first time in a long time, two flights from Europe are in the air and on their way to St. Louis!
Big day for the city and I am thankful for everyone that made it happen.
2 days.
Plane assigned for first flight.
I saw a news report they were working on it yesterday and I was very surprised it hasn’t been up for a couple weeks.
4 days..

Congratulations American Airlines on 100 years! #AA1926 retracing the first Chicago-St. Louis route is being operated by the airline’s special 100th anniversary livery 737. www.flightradar24.com/AAL1926/3f3b...
Another day of Lufthansa strikes. STL didn't avoid it this time and the FRA-STL-FRA flight has been canceled today.
Appears the only flight to North America today is Munich to Mexico City
Unless they plan to give Joyner and Mcsorley big minutes duiring the weekend, which doesn't seem to be a priority, I want them to play basically a full game tomorrow.
January International loads (DOT)
Frontier Cancun 82.06%
Southwest Cancun 78.93%
Lufthansa Frankfurt 78.72%
Southwest Cabo 75.75%
AA Cancun 72.87%
AC Toronto 64.91%
Frontier Punta Cana 60.84%
Alaska Puerto Vallarta 31.81%
For compaision to my previous tweet. You can see the STL and ORD flights just entering Canada today.
Lufthansa's crew is on strike today but their flight to STL is running on time. It is only 1 or 2 flights in the air to the US, and 1 of 3 to North America, at the moment due to mass cancels on other flights. Kind of impressive that they chose to run our flight over others.
Finding a problem that doesn't need fixed.
I had planned to be there for this but plans changed and now I go in two weeks...
I’ll try to play around with it usually but for these two the other airlines schedules were worse (redeyes), extra stop, or way more expensive. Oh well. 🤷♂️
Except when you have to book the airline who has the pair. Which for my last trip and my next trip are one I’ve never flown before and one that I never choose to fly. So that’s annoying, but a 1st world problem.
Good point. I didn’t think about picking at check in.
Just curious how many people would pay extra to ensure a window in business as opposed to other sections. But I assume UA has run the numbers enough to think they will.
As someone who hasn't flown business, is someone less inclined to pay for a seat in business than other cabins since there is no middle seat (all seats are simliar) or do people have strong preferences for seats in business? Not including airlines who have seats without direct aisle access
One thing I always have to factor in when comparing US vs non US airline prices. If you have 4 people seat selection can add up
Still expect this to be 787, but an early 5x a week start appears to be tentatively scheduled for next year.
Frankfurt – St. Louis eff 28MAR27 A340-300 replaces A330-300 in NS26, 5 weekly
Worst day of the year. Stay vigilant everyone. Believe nothing
Thats the thinking I had, that they wouldn't go backwards on free internet, but I just was a bit surprised they didn't say it
I assume it will be free, but I don't see it says it will be free like the Starlink ones have said
We want our OVC expansion news and we want it now
Gate E24 is being made customs accessible. It is good to see another gate being connected to customs with the BA flight coming. Hopefully that opens up more capacity for future flights.
I was going to guess Quebec City. Drat
Still a year out, will be curious if this gets pushed up.
