A quick turn around this month. Shit just keeps piling, in many ways, and I just so happen to have some free time on my hands to offload this mega helping of pollution.

On to the festering mass of music that lies ahead of you. Possible confusion and frustration are symptoms. I promise that I rein it in some on the final turn. Forgive me, however, because this migraine just won’t go away. Lots of new stuff throughout…out out out.
This past month has been a weird one, to say the least, for a variety of reasons. So fittingly, here is a mix that is fueled primarily by coffee, pain killers and wild mood swings. I swear I’m fine, so don’t bother. New music by David Boring, Placid Angles, Roy Montgomery, Smirk, Agentsss and more.
I suppose negative temperatures are representative of negative times. We’re full of them and I probably don’t need to elaborate. Either way, winter finally has its nasty hold on 75% of the United States right now. Some of you probably have more days to kill, so spend it eating up this big ol’ pile
Coming out of my social hibernation for a minute to contribute to this. The amount of people posting movies that are in the high 40's or 50's is absurd. I KNOW you love something way worse than that. Be brave in the face of risking your cred, yo.
Anyway, this movie rules.

i have zero interest in most modern low budget shlock because it’s doing this self conscious “haha so bad it’s good just like the 80s!” thing. but you can’t produce that intellectually. you need to be trying to make a normal movie and have it come out wrong because you’re a crazy person
Playing the extremely rare Guitar Hero: Steely Dan. You only get one shot to play it and if you miss a single note the game stops and avisibly coked out CGI Donald Fagen yells at you over the studio intercom until your console’s laser fails.
Watched Catchfire (aka: Backtrack). It made me realize that my ongoing sadness can only be remedied by wailing on a saxophone.
Everything is a bummer. Music, films and art in general is one of the few thing we got. Hang on to it tightly. Not a whole lot of new music on this months entry...however FACS, Open Head, TV Dust, Spectre Folk, Healing and Toru all make an appearance sporting new tunes if you hang in there.
Only took 5 days to want to repost this...
Cat stuck between row of records.
Cats, man...
Finally got to watch this Franco Nero gem last night.
Man, January is really just big ol' fucking bummer, eh?
fuckin' siiiiiiick.
Theatrical poster for the movie Gina.
This movie was rad. So posting this here.

Cancel all meetings, hold all calls...Water Damage represses showed up in the mail.
Word of advice, if you download one of those apps for your cats that displays fake bugs or whatever on your phone...be prepared for them to then assume every screen is going to produce the same entertainment.
And yes, I'm a BRef nerd.
Is this just a void now? Either way, for anyone out there here is another installment of strung together noise that Ive enjoyed the past month...
I did it. I can't believe it myself, but managed to get one of these bad boys done before the year is actually up. So, by all means, please take a look at my best 2024 list...
Relistening to some things today in hopes of pulling my head out of my ass and putting together some type of top 2024 list. Stay tuned.
Probably only myself and a small smattering of people may care about this...but I didn't realize that Crust had put their 3rd and final album up on Bandcamp. A much better quality than prior. Only ever released digitally.
Devo - Duty Now for the Future is a damn fine sounding record. Excellent drum sound.
Newly built doorway is a quarter inch higher than the one next to it.
They built this new conference room doorway a quarter inch higher than the one next to it to mess with me. I just know it.
Facebook has sucked forever, but a fun thing to do is to find people in their 50s or 60s whose profiles list "Life University" or "School of Hard Knocks" under "education." That shit is an adventure, man.
