I lost myself. I lost a lot of you. Some are going to see this and wonder why you still followed me and unfollow. And for that I apologize.
I worked through a lot of childhood trauma such as sexual and physical abuse and I've been off my antidepressants for 2 months yesterday.
I spend most of my free time with my kids. When they're tied up and I am free, I volunteer my services helping
I know longer watch sports so if you followed me for hockey talk, I apologize but I am not that anymore.
I work as a black history educator and run a little side gig where I do Black History Presentations to school boards, many offices and such.
I really became a person I hated. A person who lied. Was deceitful.
Today, I love myself too much to be that person.
I am nearing the 200LB mark. Down from 220. I am running daily. Exercising daily.
Is this where everybody is hanging out?
Allow me to reintroduce myself to the internet.
I am far from the person I was when I left. Lots of self reflecting, therapy, and lifestyle changes.
Lots of change. Some still in process.
Days like today, I really miss my friend Julia. She's been off socials for a while. I've made sure to let her know I am here. But I respect her wishes for privacy. I just miss having her around. Everybody does.
A few of us black Canadians are heading to Pittsburgh to take part in a black history month event with the Penguins.

I have a tumor that is causing my legs pain so ill likely be walking with a cane or device for a few weeks here but just happy as hell to be able to do the things I love with my Children.

It's Monday. It's October. One day close to some snow! Can't wait. I got my back to work notice mid September, a few more weeks and then back to work. Things are looking up.
I probably wont talk to much hockey on here. I 100% am loud when it comes to changing the game but I want people to know the other side of me.
I am round so not sure how that works but we'll figure it out.
