Stock GTA III vs Upstate Liberty

Upstate Liberty also exposes some previously hidden GTA bugs: Shadows and lights don't cast correctly on map objects rotated along X (pitch), so a lot of the rocks looked very off when lit. SilentPatch now fixes this issue, so they look much better!

Sidemissions are being adapted right now, there may be checkpoint missions in the future too. No story

From the observatory, you can see that Upstate is almost as big as Liberty City, never expected I'd see such sights in GTA III.

Such a cool area, I love it

Upstate Liberty mod for GTA III is out, and it lets us do what everyone dreamed about since 2001. It's so good, and the playable area is huge.

Good Citizen Bonus! Mods re-enabling this feature (still present in the code) existed for over a decade, but they always activated a leftover flag from VC. In SP, I integrate a check in-line with SA's task system, which also lets me play an unused audio line of cops thanking CJ!

Easily my GOTY 2026! A great recap of this series too, makes me want to try more racers from Milestone.

Multiplayer in Screamer is brutal

San Andreas conversation system supports people replying to CJ's initial reply, and gangsters had lines for replying to CJ saying he's the part of GSF, but they were not used, as peds could only respond to negative responses from CJ! With some extra code, gangsters respond too.
