On the first day of Sakusa’s third week, he doesn’t show.

“Sakusa is home sick today, so please adjust the rotation,” Foster announced, and everyone broke apart to get practice started

Right!!! A lot of my students in Japan are insanely good at art!

She had a full conversation with me about anime a few weeks ago and I was so proud of how much she wanted to practice using English to talk about interests 🥹 clearly she also felt encouraged and that warms my heart as a teacher 😭

I might literally have to get this tattooed on me 😂💖

Y’all the spirits were below sea level today… but one of my students made me a drawing 🥺 I told the class Omi and Atsu were my current favorite Haikyuu characters like 2 weeks ago and SHE REMEMBERED 😭💖 the kindness of children constantly reminds me there is still good in this world
