and i’m very guilty of this myself! especially with my no powers no kills run of dishonored 2, so many quickloads to line up a jump or tranquilizer. playing through resident evil requiem reminded me how much you can elevate tension and influence decision making by restricting saves, but-

another issue with Dishonored and other immersive sims that encourages players to play carefully and stick to stealth, and one i’m not entirely sure how to reconcile, is quicksaving/abundant auto saves. it’s hard to force players to own their mistakes when they can just press a hotkey to fix them
