Tenure is a pretty meaningless designation at my institution, Oregon Health & Science University. It guarantees a title and a token amount of salary. It is not a requirement for any leadership role. I suspect this is the case at many medical schools.

billhersh.bsky.social's Bluesky Wrapped 2025 Check out billhersh.bsky.social's year on Bluesky!

I genuinely enjoy Bluesky, its content, and the people on it with whom I interact, but the engagement here is nothing like other social media platforms, namely LinkedIn and Facebook.

Although the course has a clinical orientation, many non-clinicians working in health IT environments have found the course accessible and the knowledge gained invaluable to their professional development.
