Lately I've been ending every night by kicking off deep research about things I was thinking on during the day. It's a good way to shelve the thoughts before resting.

That would be great.
It's silly how you can't @-mention files in a GitHub issue. You have to open a new tab, navigate the code, and copy some permalink.
Feels...2010.
Haha. That's exactly what it looked like.
When you really think about it you realize how difficult it is to truly secure any physical space.

Should I plug in? Maybe I'll get access to hospital data.

Release 19 is now LIVE & you're going to want to check out Trust Quorum. How do we truly attest to the security of a system distributed across many physical hosts that will be swapped out over the system's lifetime?

some really cool work from my colleagues Andrew Stone and Finch Foner went into making Trust Quorum a reality — their podcast episode on the subject is definitely worth a listen!

A user interface showing 3 toggle buttons but only two lines of text describing 2 of 3 toggle buttons.

I was out in the sun most of the day today tending to the grass and getting my Puerto Rican glow back.
While I worked I kicked off deep research, chatted live with an LLM, and took some voice notes along the way.

Just gotta go around to everyone's APs and turn them off haha.
Yep. There's no 6GHz interference around me but there's slight 5GHz interference depending on which AP I'm connected to.
Ubiquiti has a "Maximum Speed" Wi-Fi preset that, when selected, uses 320MHz width. That's the only reason I'm running that width. I'm new to 6GHz so more tuning to come.

I'm in a typical NJ suburb. Detached house but neighbors are within 20-25ft on either side. The biggest sources of interference are neighboring access points and their car networks in the driveway.
Yep! This specific radio is dedicated to high performance clients. It's configured with 320 MHz wide channels right now but we'll see if I keep it.
Interference is fine for 5GHz and 6GHz. On 2.4GHz the interference is miserable which was one of the motivations for adjusting radio broadcasts.
Wi-Fi for my iPhone Air is much better than before I configured things. I isolated radio bands and made use of private pre-shared keys to limit the number of radio broadcasts. Could get the upload better but whatever.
Much better results out the WAN port after some adjustments to switch port settings and moving VLANs around.

Framework Desktop link is 5GbE.
Switches along the way are 10GbE now.
Continuing the DevOps roadmap today by discussing container orchestration. If you're looking for a zero to Kubernetes resource then this is it.
