🛢️ Extraction peaked in 1999 because it was privatised then plundered.

📉 Even with new licences, production will fall by 95% between 2026 and 2050.

💷 Oil and gas prices are set internationally. More North Sea extraction won’t lower prices.

This is exactly why fossil fuel companies, their lobbyists, the politicians and right-wing media don’t want us to use renewables and keep us addicted to their money making racket.

The Hinkley C UK nuclear reactor will produce 3.2GW, it will cost £50bn.

For that the UK could have built 40GW of Wind Turbines in 1/5th of the time.

Which would even on the least windy days of the year produce TWICE as much electricity.

Nuclear is an unnecessary RIPOFF.
