I want to thank the 34,000 Vermonters who joined Sen. Welch, Rep. Balint and me in our delegation town hall by phone & online.

An extraordinary turnout for a state of 650,000 people. Needless to say, the people of VT are deeply concerned about what’s going on in DC right now.

These #NY #Prisons are deplorable for anyone to be in.

I recall monitoring these prisons back in 2019 and sad to say nothing had changed.

It’s also winter so everyone is going to be freezing. We’d get complaints about broken windows so they’d be exposed to the elements.

Insane. The National Guard who was sent to NY prisons because of an illegal strike are sharing and showing how shit these facilities are!

They’re forced to be there under orders for 30 days so are staying in cells and can’t leave!!!
