View at Erlanger Park, a newly-constructed multi-use venue that primarily serves as the home for the Chattanooga Lookouts minor league baseball team. Redevelopment of the former U.S. Pipe and Foundry site incorporated historic buildings into the new ballpark.

This photo was taken on the opening night for the new ballpark. The perspective is from the concourse behind the left field lawn seating, looking towards the field. Beyond the playing field and behind the first baseline is the Pattern Shop building (long gray building) originally constructed in the 1930s. To the far left of the frame in the right field corner is the Powerhouse building (red building with exposed steel framing) originally constructed in the 1890s.

"Lookout Home Run" is a nod to the mountain in the background and the namesake baseball team, the home run by Lookouts second baseman Dominic Pitelli immediately before this image was captured, and the successful completion of this iconic project.

How to cook a couple ridiculously thick steaks? Tried reverse searing them on the grill, and they turned out ... pretty good, actually πŸ˜‹πŸ₯©πŸšπŸ₯—πŸΊ

Props to you for helping your child give sports a try 🏊🫢

Practice definitely doesn't require your attention - feel free to read or anything else to pass the time. And meets only require a little of your attention during your child's events - there will be a lot of down time in between.

The pork came from our friends' farm. They raise a few pigs each year w/o feeding them chemicals or hormones. Food seems to taste better when you know where it came from.

Yes, it is surprising how many people seem to only use the default feeds that Bluesky app provides.

I enjoy seeing the variety of cool things feed builders are creating, and I appreciate how most feed builders are eager to help others do cool things too - especially the Graze community.

I feel that way too.

View of the outdoor swimming pool at the City of Orange Beach Aquatics Center - (Alabama, USA) on a beautiful spring morning.

This municipal pool is first come / first served for lane availability, and splitting a lane for part of my swim this morning reminded me how lucky I am to be able to reserve a lane to myself at my regular fitness club.

A few other swimmers cleared out before I finished, so I had room to wrap up with a little bit 🀏 of butterfly at the end of my swim 😁

Much love and appreciation to my wife for doing stuff like this for me πŸ’ž she understands an hour at the pool puts me in a better mood, and makes vacation better for the whole family πŸ˜‚

If I ever send you 🀏 it means "I'm only gonna swim a little bit of butterfly" when I'm doing laps 🏊

Only 250 of the 13,000 yards I swam this week were butterfly πŸ˜†
