do we do #SuperbOwl jokes on Bluesky? If so here is the most Superb Owl of all, the Blakiston's fish owl 🦉.
Grainy black and white photo of a man in a nice vest, trousers, white shirt, vest, and bowler type hat, sitting on a wooden chair and milking a cow. He’s smiling and looking down at a shorthaired tabby sitting on the ground next to him while he directs a stream of milk from the cow’s udder to the cat’s mouth.
The title of this is “From producer to consumer direct”. Postcard from my collection, undated.

A snippet of an astro chart showing current planet placements for the month of Feb 2024
Been observing how Aquarius season has been. While there has been a significant news in tech (ex. collective ownership and possession), also saw a mass shift in the workforce on top of wins and losses in entertainment. Now I wonder how things are going to be when Mars enters the fray next week 👀
I did! Stopped when the cat who willingly gave, Mystie, died. Mostly because when Mystie was still around, every time she’s near there will be a whisker or a claw shedding she leaves behind. The other cats don’t. It’s been a precious resource for my workings and only use it when I have to.
"Humanity looked in awe upon the beauty and everlasting duration of creation. The exquisite sky flooded with sunlight. The majesty of the dark night, lit by celestial torches as the holy planetary powers trace their paths in the heavens in fixed and steady metre — ordering the growth of things with their secret infusions. Men looked with wonder and questioning, and, having observed the Maker's masterpiece, wanted to create things for themselves. Their Father gave permission, so the gods who administer the Cosmos each shared with humanity a part of their power. Since the world is Atum's handiwork, those who maintain and enhance its beauty are co-operating with the will of Atum by contributing their bodily strength in daily care and labour to make things assume the shape which his purpose has designed. Chance is movement without order, and skill is the force which creates order. The Earth is kept in order by means of humanity's knowledge and application of the arts and sciences."
Finished Freke & Gandy's "The Hermetica." Might read Copenhaver's edition next.
I took notes where I saw Qabalistic correspondences, and this helped my meditations greatly, as well as a certain practical exercise that I was struggling with.
The attached is a passage about art that I like a lot.
Thanks! Her name is Sera and she’s kinda deaf but we love her despite her aloof nature
✨
I am still unsure on how to introduce myself in new platforms but as long as there’s books, cats, news, and astrology I will be lurking. Have a photo of one of our cats taken last night. I’m sure she’s not plotting anything… right?
