The #ww2 US unexploded aerial bomb found last Monday at Teltow-Berlin has been successfully defused yesterday, it seems that the US-built 250kg explosive 'dud' just partially exploded when landed there 80 years ago.

An aerial bomb #ww2 was discovered during construction work in Teltow on Monday in the Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. It seems to be an explosive 250-kg bomb. Defusing work is scheduled for today. A 600-meter exclusion zone around the site has been required for it.

as far as I know there is no damage map or something like that about that raid, but there are the damage city records reporting every street hit by bombs.
Prof Demps in his studies says 1557t of explosive bombs and 1535t of incendiaries were dropped on March 18th alone

The 1905 image on top shows the Tunnelhaus of the elevated railway at Dennewitzstr in Schöneberg. Bottom is a March 2025 photo. The viaduct was reconstructed after the war, not as the residential buildings, hit by bombs during the RAF #ww2 Nov 1943 raids.

Last Sunday during our journey part of the excellent @berlin-1945.bsky.social, we visited several battle damaged points in the Schöneberg district. I had the opportunity then to take this Then/Now picture of a dug in Panther tank from Panzer-Kompanie (bo) 'Berlin' placed there in 1945-March 2025.
