Facebook is asking for a selfie but is also limiting her use. I've never seen this before. Any help is good help.

Does anyone have experience with this?
It's re: the person in Gaza I work with, Warda. She uses social media to help with donations and they really crack down on her being a "real person."
They find great enjoyment and fulfillment in slowing down, admiring the beauty around them, and focusing long enough to paint it. It is, they think, a form of meditation. They are excited to impart this feeling onto other people.
About the Instructor: Marguerite Dabaie is an illustrator, graphic designer, and fine artist. They are American-born and they now call Kyoto their home. They apprenticed with a watercolor master for 1.5 years and have worked in the medium for almost 30 years.
I am now offering beginner to advanced onsite watercolor workshops in Kyoto!
These experiences are perfect for tourists who are visiting Kyoto's rich cultural offerings for the first time, for residents who want to take a moment to slow down, and for anyone interested in painting outdoors.
That's my US arts career in a nutshell: Never, ever good enough for them, and nevermind entire swaths of my artistic output never saw the light of day because oh no, has to do with Palestine.
And you know what? I know my work is good. So go ahead and claim I'm small-time, Wiki.
Won't ever stop being mad that I was good enough to get an artist visa in Japan, which only ~300 people per year get, but Wikipedia took down my page because I am apparently not important enough to the arts community.
Sure the contraption that got us to the moon was cool but have you seen

I'm pretty frustrated at a lot of things right now, honestly. I feel like I'm mentally shutting down a little.
Saw on the train today, Fukushima prefecture is doing a tourism campaign in partnership with Square-Enix, promoting Final Fantasy-like landscapes & touristic spots.

lol, it's basically like an earthquake: that pressure's gotta escape somehow
Sounds like the US comics industry is chewing off its own foot again
I'm gonna sound jaded as hell, but as I tried to navigate the comics space for years and got pooped on continuously for it, the only thing the industry cares about is maintaining their status quo
This thread is insaaannne
-It's a nice feeling.
-I make little enough that I don't have to pay anything to America, the place that, you know, openly abhors my people and supplies a ton of material support to have them wiped off the planet, so I will HAPPILY pay taxes to a place that actually has infrastructure and doesn't want me dead.
