Caveat: It’s useful for comparing relative temperatures but not accurate for measuring absolute temperatures. I’ve heard there are good cameras that attach to your phone, but I haven’t looked into it enough to decide on one.

I too am reluctantly adjusting to the “wearing multiple layers indoors” life this winter. I have an infrared thermometer, and as soon as we’re done moving in, I’m going on the hunt for all the drafts in the house.

I’m glad/mad that our little potato is light enough to carry when she refuses to go for a walk in even mildly inclement weather. It’s not like we don’t have jackets and sweaters for her. She’s just a big baby.
