I was LTTP in general to 24, so when I decided to see what all the fuss was about I bought the first season DVD set (they were up to season 5 at least when I started) I said "I'll watch one episode." 9 hours later I was up at 9am considering "just one more" before I passed out and woke up later.
One episode down. A billionty more to go. Kids are hooked lmao

Yeah. Still optimizing, but just glad to have things spaced out rather than crushed together like crazy. Was feeling claustrophobic. The keyboard is fun, but for whatever reason I just cannot get the hang of Keychron's split keyboard layout but also don't want to go back to regular QWERTY.
Still organizing late into the night but it’s a huge relief to have a somewhat organized desk, chair that supports my whole ass and legs (the Herman Miller Aeron is too small), and PC tower tucked away discreetly. It’s doing wonders for my mental health. Should have done this ages ago.

Much like Dua Lipa, my PC is now levitating, resting securely on foam supports within the PC bracket for this desk. It’s now tucked away, out of sight, and still nice to look at when I want to. Quiet as hell, too. @aegies.bsky.social did an amazing job building this PC. I owe him big time.
OK, I’m pretty proud of my simple ass. I MacGyvered the hell out of this. Took two identical high-density foam strips which somehow fit perfectly within the space I needed them to, and applied adhesive velcro to keep them in place. Still breathable, and saves my grill tabs from getting squashed.

Bret McKenzie was super friendly and nice to my kids and I. Told him we moved to New Zealand because Flight of the Conchords made us feel like Wellington was a cool and safe place.
Brought my kids to see Bret McKenzie at Slow Boat Records in Wellington. Saw him two weeks ago in concert, then two nights ago with Jemaine as Flight of the Conchords, and now today for a Record Store Day event in town, and two FOTC shows this coming week. Definitely maximum Bret.
