I didn’t say that but it’s not going to be the same Democratic Party going forward. The old guard including Schumer needs to go.

They should be fighting as a group not deciding that those not up for reelection until 2028 or 2030 should vote yes or those retiring should vote yes. They must have new leadership or they’ll lose long time voters like me.

They met as a group and chose those less vulnerable members to vote with the GOP to reopen the government with no thought to the millions that would lose their health insurance. Those of us with pre-existing conditions are also at risk of losing our health insurance.

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
