As an alternative, I’ve got a google spreadsheet that works as a pseudo-automated character sheet.
Obviously you’d have to use Google Drive, and create a new copy every time you want to make a new character, but it’s free and it works.

Base Ark is so incredibly brutal that you at LEAST need modifiers to be able to recover from the random bs.
I still think the meanest part is that the game prompts you to name every creature you tame.

And often for the dumbest possible reasons, too.

I remember one game where I had to abandon a base I spent like two days building because an Alpha Rex fell off a cliff onto my house. Barely got out with my Iguanodon, but all my other tames/gear had to be abandoned.

1. Fray standing over Apollo at Camp Dragonhead, c. Heavensward patch 3.2, at the end of the Dark Knight 30-50 questline. He's standing tall with a cocky expression, asking "Are you tired of being nice?" Meanwhile, Apollo is on her knees, completely winded. 2. Fray is squatting down, looking more gremlinish as he says "Don't you just want to go ape shitt"

3. Apollo stands up, clutching her head as she says "'aren't you tired of being nice' no!!!! i'm tired of everyone else being mean!!!!!!!!" Meanwhile, Fray is looking back at the camera with a concerned and perplexed expression, as if befuddled by Apollo's crashout.

I’ll definitely consider this angle of inquiry, though talking to my provider (read: corporate strangers) is a scary concept that I’ll likely hold off on until absolutely necessary

I’ve looked before, and never saw any reports or errors to go off of.

If this does end up being the problem I will personally incinerate whoever decided to make Windows Defender (for legal reasons, this is a joke)

Definitely something to check; I think there was some sort of update recently, but since I shut my computer down every night I don’t recall how recent it was.
