If your 37 years working for the federal government is the reason you make these statements, then you should have knowledge of specific incidents where elected officials abused their ethics to get health care that no one else could get. There is a whistleblower program, right?

I don’t know why folks think that elected officials are riding some gravy train here. They are entitled to the same health care plans as any ordinary federal employee and they pay for it, including co pays, deductibles, etc. Their pensions are prorated.

When we moved to Kansas in 2014, we went to DMV to get driver’s license and register to vote. No problem for my husband. I had to return after I sent away for my marriage license (which I did). How many women don’t register because of the hassle??
