Using #5Calls app to call my elected Representatives today to vote against the inflated and pentagon-heavy federal budget! Non-partisan CBO reports the bill will result in massive MediCARE cuts (in addition to the cruel cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, already in the bill). Get calling!!

I see I didn’t clearly explain. School works well for the majority of the kiddos (“bikes”). Up until 10 years ago, my special needs son (said “violin”), would have been taught using the same curriculum. And it’s proven that doesn’t work for his reading disorder. It’s ok to advocate for your child.

Repeated my fave school explanation to my son’s teacher today and she loved it… “School is a bicycle factory, they make great bicycles. And my son is a violin”. Forever grateful to the thoughtful genius that is @caissie.bsky.social
