🇫🇷 Christophe Laporte found himself in an interesting situation during Paris–Roubaix. He didn't have to contribute in the chasing group - but there was little he could do to put himself in contention for the win. The result was a nice fifth place.

🇳🇱 Mathieu van der Poel spent quite some time walking along the roadside in the Arenberg Forest, which made it all the more impressive that he ended up contesting the podium. He finished fourth, placing him between the two greatest German riders in history.
