Cory Booker now has the longest filibuster in US history, passing racist Dixiecrat Strom Thurmond (24 hrs, 18 mins, 1957).

I’m thankful to see an African-American senator knock Strom off his perch.

Patriotism is not about supporting whatever our country does. It’s about helping our country become the best version of itself.
