There is nothing comforting about “I’m just as scared as you” coming from the legislative branch that’s supposed to keep checks and balances on the executive. While she thought it was relatable, it is actually mortifying.

So did I at the first read. I was very disappointed in us. Now I am less disappointed in us, but still disturbed.
