I bought English muffins that look exactly like these yesterdayβ¦ in England, where there are plenty of places to buy English muffins! π

βNo! Weβll churn out film after film until thereβs nothing but a dried husk left, and youβll like it!β
-A Hollywood execβ¦. Probably
Cheers mate! ππ
Bolt Action Burma:
The first squad is finished. I decided that larger squads of 14 would mean we could banzai towards enemies and afford to lose a couple of men, before they get stuck in with melee!
These are probably my favourite WG miniatures Iβve painted.
@warlordgames.com
Oh they look excellent! π

Lovely purchases there, mate. ππ»
Iβll keep my eyes peeled! ππ
Iβve not read the book, Iβll have to look it up. Good to know the gamer grass is easy to use. Itβll be a bit of an experiment to see how it looks. Cheers. ππ»
Delivery from Warlord. The βArmies of Japanβ 3rd edition book, with a free Hiroo Onada miniature. He was the chap who didnβt surrender until 1974 as he didnβt know the war had ended!!!
Also got a couple of Gamers Grass ferns to try out. Hopefully theyβll look good on the bases.
I did get a sprue from Wargames Illustrated too, but Warlord Games sent me out a Japanese Starter Army to paint. I have about 40 to paint! ππ»
Bolt Action Burma:
WIP: Painting has started on my Imperial Japanese army.
I decided Iβd paint an entire squad and then decide if I like the look or not. You canβt always tell by painting just one
miniature!
So far, so good though. ππ»
Itβs always nice to hear things are going well for people, so congratulations on your good fortune! ππ
Cheers mate! The heads are from the K47 Stahltruppen box. You get loads of spare heads on each sprue.
Yes! I converted some German heavy weapon teams for use with K47, just some head swaps, but the Bolt Action minis can be used in so many ways. I also used a squad of US Rangers as a pre-tech squad to accompany my Fireflies. π

Iβve seen this once in the UK where there was construction work nearby. Maybe it stops the workers getting zapped by the power lines or to stop it getting damaged? Iβm not sure though. π€·π»ββοΈ
Oh nice. π
They look great! Iβll probably hold fire on ordering any British/commonwealth guys yet. I want to see if there are any announcements to be made for the coming yearβs releases. ππ»
Iβm hoping to build a British and Commonwealth army to oppose these chaps. π
Thanks Paul. π
Avebury is a great day out. I took my kids last year and even they enjoyed themselves! ππ
What a fantastic table!! Good luck with your campaign! π
Haha. I understood that reference! ππ»
Correct. π
Sword in one hand and scabbard in the other. π I could do some sort on fanatical frenzied chap wielding 2 swords, I suppose. π€π
Bolt Action Burma:
All of the miniatures (minus the metal artillery piece and crew) are now built and ready for painting next week!
They were easy to build and l, as with many of @WarlordGames infantry kits, offer plenty of options for how you want to build your squads. π
Same. Metal is a nightmare to work with. Iβve got an artillery piece with this set to make - all metal. π© However, warlord just announced their first non-metal artillery (pak40). So thereβs hope for the future! π
Unfortunately I donβt have access to a printer, but once Iβm done with this lot Iβll start on the opposing British and then bulk both sides out with extra vehicles and units. ππ»
