i often find myself in facilities roles in these offices and sometimes it's my job to clean up after these people all day and it sickens me. i'll clean the kitchen area, come back 15 mins later and there's a full sink again. i should be allowed to give one slap a day to whoever i catch doing it

every office i've ever worked at has had a "clean up after yourself policy" and they all also had a problem with people just not doing it. even when there's TWO DISHWASHERS both available, people leave their dishes in the sink for someone else to clean up. why are people like this

i don't get how people can go to bed on time and get up on time every night. they just say "time for bed" and they sleep, i don't understand. when do the horrors happen

i've been thinking of jobs lately that i think would actually be enjoyable, not just tolerable. and so far my favourite is "person who comes up with ideas for new sylvanian families"

to be clear, we had more tapes in the house. we were just a chaos family and nobody ever remembered to bring another tape. and then when i was 8 my family sold the car and never got another one so we never had a "what music to play" situation ever again. but i still love johnstons motor car!

we had two tapes in the car. one was nursery rhymes from when i was tiny, that i demanded to be played on repeat. when i was 4 this tape got "lost" and we were stuck with the only other tape which was a dubliners compliation, which we then wore out. at 5 my favourite song was johnston's motor car

my challenge for myself this year is to try and spot the difference between "having a conscience and acting in line with it" and "morally scrutinising every action i take until i'm so scared to be Bad that i do nothing". currently they look the same to me but i'm only 30, i'm still a child basically

If climate protestors were blockading a fuel refinery they'd be picking their teeth off the ground by now.

there's sort of a diet coke, coke zero thing happening with percy pigs at the moment. they made veg ones which were a bit different and harder, then they figured out how to make the normal ones vegan. so now they're all vegan but they still sell the 'original veggie' cos some people like them

trying to replace a laptop charger is now a herculean task that requires you to endure 12 labours each more arduous then the last. there are tricksters and charlatans on your path disguised as noble merchants, and the hero you seek may have a humble veneer...

A protestor who blocked the port protesting the genocide in Gaza had his wrist broken when thrown to the ground by GardaΓ.

I've been shoved and threatened for daring to get close to shutting down the access road to Shannon Airport.

It's amazing how different the GardaΓ's response is here...
