Why is every advert during the ITV #BTCC broadcast for shower aids or stair aids, or cremation plans. Is the demographic watching really that old.

do racing "news" outlets know they can write about the tragedy that just occurred at Nurburgring without mentioning that Max Verstappen is racing in it? the world does not revolve around Formula 1 drivers.
Have added #GTWCEurope and #ELMS to Fullsendindex.com ahead of this weekends season kick offs.
Will likely be watching ELMS and #NLS myself, as well as #WRC
Who needs F1?
Also have a mk2 CRV!
Looks a lot like this I had going on lmao. Thank the wife for just booking the Duster test drive and essentially make the decision for me. (It was Orange which helped)
Good day working on FullSendIndex.com yesterday, finally fixed a bug and now can have a race be part of two different series - damn you 2012 Sebring 12hrs for that!
Also improved workflow adding events - so now available for review are 1995 #WRC, and 1997-2000 #CART seasons and races!
Did a 4hr stint overnight at one of their Le Mans 24hrs one year, eyes and back were killing, and my forearms and fingers were from gripping the wheel as well. 10/10 would do again.
Have now added every #F1 season and every #WEC (modern era) season to Fullsendindex.com
Need to do the individual races next - and for some reason, of all the data I have in my F1 Results spreadsheet, the track for each race isn’t one 😐so guess that’s my evening sorted
A collapsed tent in the dark.
Sitrep: it wasn’t the worst of it. We are now at home.
Tent collapsed around midnight. Shuffled the girls into the car and then packed up by yeeting everything into the car haphazardly. No idea how it all fit.
Then coming out the campsite a tree had fallen blocking the road.
That hole is duct taped up for now. And the guide rope repegged at a different angle.
Both Apple Weather and Carrot suggest that’s the worst of it over though, fingers crossed.
Been some big old gusts so far. Had to separate the kids bunk beds into seperate beds which seems to have settled them.
One guide rope pulled out - just discovered that has put a hole through the tent in the process, looks like the peg whipped up and through.
Weather forecast showing wind gusts of 38mph rising to 49mph, and adding rain, over the next 2hrs.
Currently tenting. Hoping the tent stays in agreement over the next few hours.
Already witnessed one family lose their tent and it’s not even reached its peak yet.
Need to spend the week sleeping next to a generator for that campsite feeling.
you may have noticed I’ve started a bit of a passion project as well - https://fullsendindex.com - which allows you to rate events you’ve watched/attended/read about in an attempt to create an “IMDb” type score for races.
Have added this season, so check it out and rate once watched
Just discovered a playlist on YouTube of the 1998 FIA GT Championship. That’s this weekends motorsport fix sorted!
youtube.com/playlist
Oh I’d absolutely take the excuse to rewatch it in that case.
Tokyo Drift is the only one out of order - think it sits between 6 and 7 in timeline. But honestly that film is so bad it’s good, I’d just watch in release order.
Forgot to lube up before my run and boy am I regretting that right now.
#F1 weakest race of the 3 so far. Suzuka continues to be a very poor modern F1 race track. But still some good battling and racing. Good McLaren strength, chinks in the mercedes armour.
7/10 for me on the Full Send Index.
fullsendindex.com
Probably ban anyone not called Max Verstappen from competing.
I’ll hold the door for him on his way out.
That was a cracking race, and at Suzuka no less. Really enjoyed that from start to finish. Some great overtaking and racing all round #f1
Ah yes, Twitter logic - let’s make onboards available for all cars EXCEPT the fastest one, thatll help perception!
It’s a bit of both I think. The car does everything, but based on driver inputs. If the driver lifts off the throttle then it can start to recharge for instance.
This is the real issue with the rules atm - the complexity and lack of knowledge/understanding. But as always, that will come with time.
This guy is his own worst enemy
As much as I appreciate him for stepping outside F1 and doing things like NLS, his utter petulance in #F1 has never gone away, on or off track.
#F1 reducing recoverable energy on a Qually lap to improve the perception of them being flat out.
I say we take this to its logical conclusion already - remove the cars, drivers set a lap on foot.
Then it will solely be about the drivers abilities!

Me in a windbreaker with the hood up, with a hoodie under it with the hood up and a Coca Cola bobble hat over both hoods, and hail/snow resting on my jacket.
Snow and hail on this mornings “easy recovery” run was not welcome - had to speed up (and cut it short) to get out of it.
I’m happy to run in most conditions if I’m dressed for it, but I felt like I was being sandblasted!
Slow runs are just as important as quick ones.
As usual it’s the final hour of #IMSA Sebring 12h and race control call the FCY as quick as possible to ensure a close finish.
And just as you said that, FCY for a dive plane you could have local yellowed or code 60.
I love IMSA for the 'quality' of the racing, it is always fun to watch a clown car crashing, but they need to do something about those yellows
