Due to the recent news about the new investors at EA I have decided to step away from the EA Creator Network and disable my creator code I am a small voice in this community, but I believe that the pressure from creators and the sims community will hopefully make EA’s leadership question this deal and the impact it has on the player base. I have always believed that EA benefits far more from creators creating free advertising than we do from receiving codes I am a huge fan of The Sims and all the hard work that Maxis has done for the franchise over the years. The Sims is an absolute pillar of inclusion and creativity in the gaming community, which is why this news of the new investors is so deeply disturbing and disappointing. I will continue to play the sims and support the hard work of everyone at Maxis, but I will no longer be highlighting any new releases from EA including future sims packs, Star Wars games or EA Originals
