Yeah the Switch came out with Breath of the Wild on release and had Mario Kart, ARMS, Splatoon, Dragon Quest, and Shovel Knight lined up for the first 3 months, and I think Smash, Odyssey, and Pokemon were also in the first year

It felt like it took a really long time to announce it, and then it still felt rushed. Honestly the Switch is a good console but is also way behind the times on a lot of fronts, and it doesn't really seem like 2 caught up

Honestly joy cons are incredible until they break, personally I wish they were bigger and heavier but they're a good compromise. Never heard of a pair working right after 9 months though, and considering I have a Gameboy SP that still works after 20 years, I expect more from Nintendo hardware

It seems like an ok update to the console itself, but even that isn't crazy, and I don't know if they fixed the dogshit Internet connection or controller reliability, which are honestly my biggest complaints about the Switch

I actually almost exclusively use my Switch with the dock, but there's nothing exclusive to the Switch 2 that's enough to make me want one even if I could afford it. Donkey Kong sounds awesome, Kirby looks interesting, new Mario Kart is annoying, don't really care past that so far
