The mechs have weight and the pilots do their best, whether it's good enough or not.

On the 20th of April 1991, Super Robot Wars was released for the Gameboy. A simply strategy game with Gundam, Mazinger & Getter Robo series would go on to be a long running franchise featuring multiple Mecha IPs across multiple gaming platforms.

On the 9th of April 1999, the 1st episode of Turn A Gundam aired. The legendary Yoshiyuki Tomino returned to create this 50 episode series and the great Syd Mead did the Mecha designs for the show. It debuted in SRW Alpha Gaiden (PS1) in 2001.

On the 25th of March 1989, the 1st ep of Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket was released. It had a total of 6 episodes, was the 1st Gundam OVA series & the 1st Gundam series to not be directed by Tomino. It debuted in SRW 3 (SNES) in 1993.
