Oh that sounds rubbish. I hope he can be back to the halfway hospital quickly. We plod on - tensions twixt unhelpful siblings, Dad desperately needs ALL the help but refusing & Mum happily living in 1946. I am living in a constant state of anxiety and fear about what may happen next.

Guys! I’ve lost 30lbs since October. Some of this has been down to the stress of looking after the parentals and the rest has been down to hard graft dieting…
For the first time since mid November I have had a ‘normal’ morning at home.
It’s hugely discombobulating.

It’s rubbish.
We are still living in limbo - Dad was to be discharged this week but they’ve kept him in to investigate his sudden weight loss. Mum & I continue to pootle twixt Ward & her home. Mum’s dementia has deleted my childhood from her brain but she at least still knows who I am.
Meh.
We are struggling to get J a flu jab. Get yourself registered as your Mum’s carer, it helps access to things like jabs. Good luck xx
