Yes. I want to play with this my dad! But I know it will take for-e-ver, because he probably has a story about half the fish in the deck. 😆

If they're going to spread them all over the bar table like that. But yes, I always ask, and I wash my hands first.
Me too!
A game of Lure in progress.
I forgot! We finally played the library copy of Lure. I loved it just because of the theme, art, and having grown up fishing with my dad.
I was the only one who liked it. 😑
What am I supposed to do?!? Just walk into a place and game with complete strangers?!? Touching all their bits, and meeples! 😬
Jokes on me! I forgot when my family likes a game, they just want to play that one game on repeat.
Guess who got a LOT of play of Kariba in?!? This girl! 🙋🏽♀️
My Black Bean Brownies labeled Oats & FIBER so as not to blow up my husband's digestive system.
You know you're old when you have to label the brownies. Not because of 4/20, but because someone cannot handle a ton of fiber.
I'm gonna tell them later there's black beans in the brownies!!!!! 😲 🫘 🍫
Finally learned my copy of Beacon Patrol.
A mini-stack of quick games and solo games for this weekend.
I brought a realistic stack of games for this weekend away in Gold Country. Stuff I *know* my family will like, and games I know I'll play on my own.
I've reached my Non-Aspirational Era of Board Gamer. Acceptance of who I'm with, and where they are at. I should have done this years ago!
Is there a reality show where they pick a state & spend the entirety of a season going to every single item food festival in that state? Like, I know of the following festivals near me: Garlic, Zucchini, Cherry, Asparagus, Chocolate, Apple and a road trip away is a Rib festival. I would watch this.
Taxidermy on a wall or coat hanger or a staghorn fern.
This tracks.
A post it "If you don't have a number use this: (415) 555-5555 | Your name is MIKE.
The Yi Fang is funny.
This is such a common name. How many drinks have accidentally been grabbed because of this sign?
I forgot about this!!!
Labeling and boxing 400,000 cans of canned salmon with other volunteers to be sent to food pantries in my county.
The start of the day and a stack of boxes.
You know you play too many board games when you volunteer at the food bank one day and treat it as an efficiency puzzle.
"You're really good at building boxes, I'm going to work on labels instead. She can't work the tape dispenser, switch places."
I just finished the orange one and let me tell you, there are a lot of Yokai that are all about butts.
I work in Adult Literacy. To have folks tell me they grew up with one phone in a store in their entire village that everyone shared and now they're navigating smart phones / tiny pocket computers?!?! At least the message got to me. 😆 Kudos to you!
My fave one yet is:
"I left a message, but did not hear back. I'll be there. Bye!"
Maybe typed? Maybe voice to text thinking they were texting me. Maybe they thought they were returning my call and had voice to text on?
I don't fault them. Digital Literacy is tough, and moves fast.
Omg. Bless their hearts all the Elders who email my work email with their full message in the subject headings. 👵🏽 👴🏻 📱 📧
From this angle it looks like a Pokemon amusement park!
I always forget this is in my town and then they remind me in a big way.
Just wait till all the elders realize this. The Call Center at my library will be a frenzy. All of you who give your parents / grandparents your old devices. Give them a heads up!
Omg. I'd do NY cause I hate driving. But I haven't visited during the snow. So maybe no!
I'm always doing that! You can tell I did an online training because my desk is super tidy.
I did this for two weeks at work. It's genius! But not if one is watching their diet.

I was a member of the Baby Sitters Club Fan Club AND subscribed to YM with my bday money.
😆 Librarians are the masters at lowkey trolling in plain sight.
I'm in my 40's now. My life advice now spans a realm.
From "Talk about parental elder care with your partner before shit hits the fan," to "Boiled mung beans in your green smoothie increase fiber and protein!"

The weird thing is. You could kinda see an outline and the pancake never got moldy, or fell apart. It was the late 80's / early 90's, so I bet the mix was full of preservatives and would never mold. But still!
