Talked with my therapist today about how I'm an adhd mess... as in a mess that is hidden in a drawer you can close... still messy but less visibly so. But also about how it's okay that I'm a mess. <3

I also work in higher education. My day job is all about improving belonging and access. I won't talk about that much here, because my work is increasingly politicized and targeted by shitty folks and legislators. But it does inform how I think about... well... most of life. So it's good to know?
Honestly, I think all acts of creation (from game design, to art, to academic research, etc.) are necessarily collaborative. You're always responding to or building on an existing conversation. But I particularly enjoy explicitly and intentionally collaborating with other rad folks.
I also sometimes work on other people's games. I really love the process of collaborative creation---whether it's a commissioned contribution to a larger project, a co-created project, or an independent supplement to an existing work.

Sometimes I make TTRPGs. When I do, I'm usually most excited to create games that focus on stories by, about, and for marginalized groups. They often explore the act of creating community to live in a society that actively isolates you. But I also make silly games. Again, I love the intersections.
