They say if you live long enough you can experience everything and it is in this hopeful spirit that I can reveal I have now survived my first bomb scare. Huzzah!

I have, of course, dug out all my surviving 40K stuff and am kicking myself that I had to get rid of all my Codexes.
Might see if I can get a decent setup to at least get some photos of the little buggers.

I really enjoyed Remake (Rebirth less so), but yeah, the changes did throw me. I've learned to love it for what it is and not what I was expecting though, but I do agree that SE needs to learn the right lessons from how this has all played out.

So far this morning I have learned that the bassline in Curtis Mayfield's "Billy Jack" is a dead ringer for the Shinra theme in FFVII.
What else will the day bring me?

It's such a shame! XIII, XV and now XVI had such potential, but the combat is so bad!
Once the VII Remake is done, SE really need to have a think about how they handle the elements that make Final Fantasy Final Fantasy...

Closure, it seems, it not for people such as I.

The MA I'm on has lost its course leader in the last round of 'voluntary redundancies', we've been stripped of assets over the last couple years like our library and anywhere to buy materials, but look at the shiny new business school everyone. That will pay for itself in 30 or so years...

I did have a big "Ooooo" at the end of the Minus Zero trailer, so count me onboard for that, then.
